I am an Israeli Arab writing articles about my personal experiences and perspective about the Arabic society in Israel. As an Israeli Arab, it is hard to speak up and tell my opinion. Especially considering that I am not following the mainstream, which makes me a minority in a minority. Having this platform as a place to write down anonymously my experiences and opinions is a great opportunity to express my thoughts.
I have chosen to write anonymously as it may be unaccepted in the Israeli Arab or the Palestinian society even from people I know. Therefore, it is best for all to be anonymous. I am replacing my real name with “Shams” which means sun. Hoping this platform will bring sunshine to the world, an influence, bring a change in the arabic society, open peoples’ minds, and bring new information to readers.
